The Executive Power has authorized the trip of the President of the Council of Ministers, Alberto Otárola, to the city of Toronto, Canada, in order to participate as a keynote speaker at the mining convention of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC 2023) .
According to Supreme Resolution 048-2023-PCM, published in the legal regulations bulletin of the Official Journal El Peruano, Otárola Peñaranda’s trip is authorized from tomorrow until March 8 of this year.
The head of the PCM will be present at Peru Day, scheduled for March 6. The following day, Otárola Peñaranda and the Minister of Economy and Finance, Alex Contreras Miranda, will hold a meeting with investors and world leaders, in order to present investment opportunities in Peru.
The presence of the Peruvian delegation at the PDAC 2023, under the leadership of the head of the PCM, and composed of the ministers of Energy and Mines, Óscar Vera Gargurevich, and of Economy and Finance, ratifies the importance that the government attaches to the productive progress of mining, a fundamental element to promote economic recovery and reduce poverty.
The recital specifies that Alberto Otárola will participate as a keynote speaker at the CEO Luncheon, Peru’s central luncheon at the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC 2023), on March 7, 2023. This mining convention is the largest in the world. since it brings together more than 30,000 businessmen from more than 130 countries.
