PEP, the exploration and production division of the Mexican oil company Pemex, has launched a call for tenders for EPC contracts for infrastructure and production units in the Mulach and Yaxche fields, located in the Bay of Campeche.
According to your advertisingdisclosed in the Official Gazette on Tuesday, the contracts will cover electromechanical works for the infrastructure of the processing facilities and production units in the northern and southern regions of the PEP.
The Mulach and Yaxche fields are located in PEP assignment AE-0006-6M-Amoca-Yaxche-04, in shallow waters off the state of Tabasco in the Gulf of Mexico.
According to Oil and Gas Magazine, the state company’s unit calculates an investment of $1,574 million for the Mulach field, considered one of Pemex’s 30 priority projects to increase production.
Pemex also plans to invest $4.31 billion in Yaxche, the outlet reported.
According to BNamericas’ Project Profiles database, Mexican oil services company Protexa completed drilling the Yaxché 600 well in July after reaching depths of more than 4,500m 10 days ahead of schedule.
According to the tender, a session will be held on May 13 to clarify doubts about the process and bids must be submitted by May 30. The winner will be announced on June 10.
