Three men have been arrested for their probable responsibility in the murder of the Mayor of Teopisca, Rubén de Jesús Valdez Díazthe Chiapas state attorney general’s office reported.
Antonio “N”, alias “El Diablo”, Francisco “N” and Arnoldo “N” were arrested by elements of the specialized police of the Altos District Public Prosecutor’s Office, as probable material co-perpetrators of the crime of capital homicide of the city president.
In one Releasethe unit said the defendants have been handed over to a criminal judge, who will determine their legal status in the coming hours.

On Wednesday, June 8, the municipal president of Teopisca, Chiapas, Rubén de Jesús Valdez Díaz, was shot dead outside his home in the San Miguel neighborhood while inside his private vehicle.
The Herald of Chiapas reported that armed individuals shot the mayor at close range.
The Chiapas Public Prosecutor’s Office has indicated that the Public Prosecutor’s Office is continuing the procedure to clarify the facts and find the fate of the other people involved in this crime.
