The Head of Government of Buenos Aires, Horace Rodriguez Larretaannounced that heat the C40 World Mayors Summit will take place in City of Buenos Aires. It will take place from October 19 to 21 and will bring together of more than 50 mayors from around the world.

Furthermore, he pointed out that appealing to innovation we can find solutionsto environmental issues. “The It’s time to act and there’s no better way to do that than working together,” he said.
The C40 Global Mayors Summit It is a forum which is organized every three years. From the organization, they pointed out that it was “the most important meeting on climate change in the world at the city level”.

With confirmation of the date and place, the arrival in Buenos Aires of mayors of European citiess: Sadiq Khan (London), Anne Hidalgo (Paris), José Luis Martínez-Almeida (Madrid), Ada Colau (Barcelona), Femke Halsema (Amsterdam), Ahmed Aboutaleb (Rotterdam), Giuseppe Sala (Milan), ROberto Gualtieri (Rome), Sophie Hæstorp Andersen (Copenhagen), Raymond Johansen (Oslo) and Rafal Trzaskowski (Warsaw).
To these are added the mayors confirmed from USA and Canada include Eric Adams (New York), Steve Adler (Austin), Kate Gallego (Phoenix), LaToya Cantrell (New Orleans), Francis X. Suarez (Miami), Valerie Plante (Montreal) and Kennedy Stewart (Vancouver, virtual).

During this time, the African mayors who will be present will be Mpho Phalatese (Johannesburg), Elizabeth Sackey (Accra), Mxolisi Kaunda (Durban), Barthelemy Toye Dias (Dakar), Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr (Freetown) and randall williams (Tshwane).

Finally, from Oceania, the Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore, has already confirmed her virtual participation.
