Trade agreement between Peru and Canada

As recalled, a few days ago the National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) signed a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA), which will promote the program OEA by offering certified companies facilities to carry out foreign trade operations, between the two countries, in an agile and secure way.

The agreement is an important milestone for Peru, as it is the first country in South America to sign an AEO MRA with Canada, which is one of our main trading partners, being the fifth country of destination of our exports, reaching a trade exchange of more than 3,300 million dollars in 2021.
