In order to bring documentation and assistance services closer to Guatemalans living abroad, from August to December, 54 mobile consulates in different cities of the United States (USA) and Canadareport it Ministry of Foreign Relations (minex).
To this end, officials from different consulates will travel to the metropolises of the aforementioned nations to offer services such as data entry for passports and Personal Identification Document (DPI).
Also consular identity card issues, birth and death registration records, among others. The dates, the cities and the list of places and consulates can be consulted on the Minex website, under Mobile Consulates 2022.

96.3% (52) of mobile consulates will take place on weekends in the United States and 3.7% (2), between Friday and Saturday, in Canada, according to data from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In August, 9 mobile consulates will be held over 3 weekends; September 12, 3; October 19, at 3; November 9, 2, and December 5, 2. The sessions in Canada will be held in Calgary, Alberta and Regina,
Saskatchewan, respectively in September and October.
