The Canadian distills and realizes the admiration he has for the double world champion both on and off the asphalt, as evidenced by himself on the radio during the last Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
The objective, contrary to what happened with Esteban Ocon In Alpine (he was looking to stay above Alonso rather than add up for the team), is to lead Aston Martin up the grid.
“There is a great dynamic in the team at the moment and I like working alongside him. He is incredibly talented, knows a lot and has a lot of experience.. And he wants to give his best every day,” he said.
For Stroll, sharing a garage with Fernando is a constant learning curve: “I have a lot of respect for him because he’s been doing it for a long time. It offers its best level for more than 20 years.
