In an exclusive interview with Rumbo Minero, as part of the PDAC 2023, Daniel Córdova, director of investment promotion at Promperú, said that the Peruvian government has assured foreign investors that legal certainty is maintained in the country.

“Concretely, the foreign investor of the mining company must be guaranteed and assured that the conditions in terms of fairness with regard to the treatment and legal certainty of the foreign investment are maintained. The government is pretty clear about this and this event allowed us to solidify that perception,” he said at the world’s largest mining event.

He also said investors need to be clear about the country’s macroeconomic progress “and at this stage the presentations by the Minister of Economy and the President of the Central Bank have been important in consolidating that,” he said. declared.
