The Colombian Camilo publishes with the Canadian JP Saxe the song “Moderación”

Colombian singer Camilo joins forces with multi-platinum Canadian Grammy nominee JP Saxe for the launch of the new song and video “Moderación”, released by Arista Records, according to a statement released Thursday.

The video was made by Venezuelan artists and frequent collaborators of JP Saxe, Evaluna Montaner and Ricky Montaner, the latter member of the duo Mau y Ricky.

“Camilo is one of my favorite artists on earth and my brother. To do this song together is a dream and I’m grateful to be able to sing a song that I love with a human being that I love. It’s a collaboration family with Evaluna Montaner and Ricky Montaner, Camilo’s wife and brother-in-law, who made the video,” said the Canadian artist.

“I will be very happy to be able to perform this song with Camilo for the rest of my life”, said the singer, who rose to fame with the song “If The World Was Ending” (2019).

Camilo pointed out for his part that JP Saxe, for a long time, is one of his “favorite singer-songwriters”.

“I’m so grateful that we had the opportunity to sit down and write this song together, it’s something I’m very proud of and can’t wait to share this track. One thing that JP and I have in common is that we don’t like people who love in moderation”, underlined the Colombian.

Since last September and before “Moderation”, JP Saxe had released two singles, “When You Think Of Me” and “The Good Parts”, both written by him with GRAMMY award-winning producer Malay (Frank Ocean, Lorde) .

Last month, he performed “The Good Parts” on NBC’s “Today Show.”

JP Saxe, following the success of his breakthrough 2021 album, “Dangerous Levels of Introspection”, performed several concerts last summer with Alicia Keys and Lewis Capaldi.

JP Saxe recently announced that he will be sharing the stage with American recording artist John Mayer on select dates of his highly anticipated “Solo” tour in March, including a show in his hometown of Toronto, Canada.

The Canadian singer will perform over the next month in New Jersey (March 11), Boston (March 13), New York (March 15), Pennsylvania (March 18), Toronto (March 20) and Detroit (March 22). .
